Ambiguous Interruption

This collection is about the confusion and mixed messages swirling around the world in the last few years with the pandemic. The media was giving so much contradicting information.  Medical advice was changing daily, science was discovering new things continually, and fear seemed to be widespread. These pieces are about the layers of life that we’ve been building upon and suddenly there is this interruption that is hard to define. I kind of imagined the phrase “the sky is falling” but was it? Or was it more like like a flash flood that might turn into a trickle? Ambiguous seemed to be a fitting word for this visual. This moment in time felt ambiguous to me and it was an interruption to everything, for everyone.
